Bomb Shelter

This building has very thick concrete walls, a thick concrete roof, and very few windows as it was to be used as a bomb shelter during the cold war. However, when the men were stationed here, this is where they went to view movies on a large white "screen" painted onto one wall. With two heavy concrete doors covering two bays, important vehicles were also protected from a potential nuclear blast.

The bomb shelter has since been partitioned into 18 storage units and totals 2,870 square feet. Two metal storage sheds with rool-up doors have also been attached to one wall of the building.
